However, when in Rome, (and by that I mean a coastal Mexican restaurant in Pacific Beach serving bloody Maria’s for $6, with an invite from San Diego Food Girl) one lives on the edge!

I've heard they put brown sugar in their bloodys, but I wasn't able to confirm. The spice was more peppery than horseradish and the tabasco flavor was prevalent. The skewer had some scrumptious treats. A lime pin wheel, bacon, pepperoncini, olive, celery and an old bay rim seasoning. I was very thankful for the waiter who went out of his way to bring me this bloody, that’s 5-star service! The icing on the cake this breakfast was the scenery, waterfalls and swans wading in a pond, with the palm trees and the ocean as a backdrop!

I got the menu and saw they had a bloody mary, and while all the house beers on tap sounded delicious, my inner tomato-loving self once again told me to go for it, and I wasn’t disappointed.
