insideOUT in Hillcrest Now Open for Brunch All Weekend!
Sunday Funday gets all the attention, wouldn’t you agree? While Sunday Funday is one of my favorite days, we can’t forget about Saturday! Brunch is meant for the weekend, not just one day! That’s why I’m so excited insideOUT in Hillcrest is now open for brunch Saturday & Sunday!
Here’s why brunch at insideOUT is one of my favorites in all of San Diego…
Come inside to dine outside
One of the most unique things about insideOUT is that you literally come inside to dine outside. The restaurant opens to an expansive outdoor patio, surrounded by the Eitol Towers. With several dining levels, whether your dining at their socially distant bar, waterfall-side on their outdoor patio or up above in their elevated lounge and fire pits, there isn’t a bad seat in the house!
Especially during a global pandemic, getting to dine outside under open skies, away from the hustle and bustle of the street and passerby’s means the world to me.
You can feel safe and socially distant while brunching outdoors along with their above and beyond safety measures they have implemented for guests and staff. It’s no wonder insideOUT has earned the title, San Diego’s Safest Oasis!
California-Mediterranean Brunch Fare
Executive Chef MJ Testa’s California-Mediterranean cuisine is on full display during weekend brunch. Mixing Mediterranean inspiration with fresh ingredients from California, insideOUT has a little bit of something for every for brunch goer.
Healthy options like her Spanish, Cali, and Veggie Frittatas, Quinoa Hash Bowl, Lump Crab Salad, and the Lemon Avocado Toast serve as the perfect post-workout meals or for those who are looking to fill up but keep it healthy.
If you’re looking to indulge a little more by curing a hangover or satisfying a sweet tooth, I highly recommend giving the Steak & Eggs Sandwich, Baked Lamb Meatballs, French Toast, or Belgian Waffle a try. There really aren’t any bad decisions on insideOUT’s brunch menu.
Hand-Crafted Brunch Cocktails
Brunch without booze is just a sad breakfast, am I right? Well luckily, insideOUT has some fabulous hand-crafted cocktails designed by Creative Director of Wine & Spirits Moe Girton! One of my favorite cocktails is the Horchata Brew which is made with Modern Times Nitro Cold Brew and topped with whip cream! The perfect cocktail to jolt you back to life.
Of course, you can’t go wrong with their classic bloody mary that is spiked with Effen Cucumber Vodka for a refreshing touch and topped with a little pre-brunch snack while you wait for your meal.
Along with their new brunch hours, insideOUT is also now offering $20 champagne buckets!! Enjoy a bottle of bubbly with a choice of 2 juices! Talk about a deal!
So, if you’re like me and like to get Brunchfaced Saturday, not just Sunday, then I highly recommend insideOUT in Hillcrest, San Diego. The ambiance, service, food, and drinks are unbeatable!
